GoteFigure
In this project case study, I will be sharing my experience designing and running a personal online store for custom art prints and apparel.
The goal was to establish a cohesive brand identity, streamline the shopping experience, and apply end-to-end design using tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Shopify. All of the artwork was hand-drawn using a Wacom tablet and brought to life in Adobe Illustrator.

Process
Designing Wearable Art in Illustrator
All apparel designs for Gote Figure were created using Adobe Illustrator, allowing for high-resolution, print-ready graphics. I developed a cohesive visual style that spanned across product lines, blending illustration and branding to create a distinct identity for the store.
Building a Cohesive Shopping Experience
I designed the storefront layout, navigation, and product pages to feel visually unified and easy to browse. The goal was to reduce friction at every step of the customer journey—from discovery to checkout—while reflecting the personality of the brand.
Creating a Scalable Visual System
To streamline new product drops, I built a lightweight design system that included reusable templates for product mockups, promotional assets, and social content. This allowed me to go from concept to launch in hours, maintaining consistency without slowing down creativity.
Outcome
The store launched with a full collection of illustrated apparel and print designs, all created in Illustrator using a Wacom tablet.
Over 200 items were sold in the first quarter, and the reusable design system I built allowed for rapid, consistent product updates.
The project strengthened my creative workflow and deepened my hands-on experience with Adobe tools across branding, illustration, and e-commerce.
